Ethan Smedley

Ethan Smedley is a Sophomore in the Hart School at JMU studying Sports and Recreation Management with a minor focus in Data Analytics. The passion for golf and sports started at a young age from his hometown right outside of Baltimore, MD with his earliest memories being the highlights of playing golf and baseball with his brothers growing up. Ethan has been able to work multiple events within the golf industry including the BMW Championship this past August in Owings Mills, Maryland as well as the Dominion Energy Charity Classic in Richmond, Virginia. Here he learned a plentiful amount of information regarding the golf industry and tournament operations as a whole which he plans to apply directly here at First Tee as well as the rest of his career.
